I own a QX56 and dash airbag icon is on....Help please?

Is their a trick to turning off the airbag icon on a 2006 Infiniti Qx56? I have exhausted all of my options. Please help, gratefully appreciated...I have heard of turning ther key in accessory position and doing some procedure.
